Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the most important composers in the history of Western music. He was a giant of the Baroque period who is still revered today due to the technical and intellectual depth of his music.
His most famous works are the St John and St Matthew Passions, Mass in B minor and the Brandenburg Concertos, but there are also around two hundred surviving Cantatas, numerous keyboard works, Orchestral and Chamber works, and a variety of concertos.
