Voted Best Printed Music Publication at the 2001 Music Industry Association Awards. 78 great songs from the last four decades, arranged for guitar and voice. Includes full lyrics, chord symbols, guitar boxes and playing guide.
For each song, this book first shows you all the chords you need with the chord boxes to show you the voicings. Then it has the lyrics, with the name of the chord above the point where you need to change it. Its very easy to use, and gets you playing songs in no time! You would have to know how they go though. Chock-full of great songs, and will have you impressing any party! Very good value for money. Sometimes the chord chosen is not actually correct, but it does the job and is great for beginners/intermediates. Anonymous

This is a good book for beginners like myself! It has a good compilation of well known tracks that are easy enough to play.
A basic chord knowledge is needed for you to get the best from the book.

I found this book an ideal start for beginner Guitar.
I have only been playing the guitar for three months, self-taught, and I am thoroughly enjoying this book.
Great songs, some requiring serious concentration.
