This book contains a nice collection of pieces, starting from about grade 1-2; late elementary. The problem is that is does not indicate finger settings.

I can't play well enough yet but I'm going to enjoy this book. There's loads of extra info in the back - glossary of music terms, diagram of piano keyboard with named notes and position of middle C, a composers' index as well as a contents index - all this added to some beautiful pieces to learn. I'm so looking forward to being able to master these! I think it's not for absolute beginners though and that is why I have not given it five stars.
I am very pleased with this book, it has a wide variety of pieces at different levels, so some I will be playing now and some I will practice to achieve.
Most are well known so you know what the timing should be.
I would reccomend it to anyone to play for enjoyment or to improve skills.

Both if these books have an excellant range of numbers to play. I am very pleased with them both and an slowly working my way through them. My music teacher is most impressed with the selection of music.
