Print quality was not too good, but for the price it is acceptable

I bought these for my son. He is thrilled to have them. The wonderful thing is the range of music within them.

All I expected. Nice quality. Very clear and sits flat. I just wish I could play them all!

Schirmer's edition of Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words is obviously a product of painstaking work. Pianists and musicians of any age have the opportunity to discover these wonderful pieces through this great edition.

I had a very old copy of (almost) all the Songs without Words which had become scruffy and torn. This edition is an almost identical version, with additional late Songs. It is clearly printed and well edited and has works for most skill levels. At a bargain price too!
